Privacy policy

Prompy does not collect any data. This page says what the app touches and where it stays.

Speech

Prompy uses the speech recognition built into iOS, iPadOS and macOS. Audio is processed on your device by Apple’s on-device models. Prompy never sends audio or transcripts anywhere, and it does not store them.

Scripts

Your scripts live in the app’s library on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, they are stored in your own iCloud account, under Apple’s terms, and are visible only to you.

Recordings

Videos you record are saved to your Photos library. Prompy keeps a list of takes per script that points at those videos. Nothing is uploaded.

Purchases

Prompy Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the transaction; Prompy only receives confirmation of the purchase.

Analytics and crash reports

Prompy includes no third-party SDKs and no analytics. Crash reports reach the developer only if you have opted in to sharing them with app developers in your device settings.
